Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - Parents
DELIVERY OF EDUCATION
What are the options for school for 2020-2021?
K-3 Options
Hance, Richland, and Wexford, parents will
have three choices. Parents can have children
attend every day or participate physically on an
alternate day schedule. For the alternating
schedule, this will be determined by alphabet
(See next question.). For example, if a Monday
is considered “A” day, then Tuesday is a “B”
day. Wednesday would be “A” day. That
pattern continues. This reduces the number of
students in the classroom at one time. By
reducing students, we increase physical
distancing. When at home (in the blue), these
students will be able to see the interactive
display board in the classroom, access materials, and listen to the teacher. At the K-3 level, students
participating in 100% virtual instruction – yellow – will be regrouped with other fully virtual students and
reassigned to a dedicated teacher. In other words, there will be a Pine-Richland teacher-focused purely on
a classroom of cyber education students. At this level, the teacher will not have responsibility for in-
person students. These staff members will be reassigned. This is possible given the number of teachers
and nature of curriculum at this level.
