D. The Institution has Academic and Administrative Councils which exercise their powers and
perform their functions objectively as mandated in the University/College Charter.

The Academic Council (AC). The AC so formed and constituted in each of the chartered SUC shall
have the following powers, in accordance with Sec. 4, Par (0) & (V) of RA 8292, to wit:
Determine, review, recommend for approval of its Governing Body (GB) the course offerings of
the
Institution.
Devise, draft, review and recommend for approval of its GB

Composition of the University Academic Council:

Chairman and Presiding Officer : University President
Members : Vice President
Campus Executive Officers/Administrators
NSTP Director
Director for Instruction
Deans (Distributed as follows: Echague (8), Cabagan (4), Ilagan (3), San Mateo (1), Roxas (1),
Cauayan (1), San Mariano (1) and Angadanan (1))

The Administrative Council (ADCO). The ADCO of a chartered SUC so formed and constituted shall
review and recommend in accordance with its GB, the BOR, appropriate policies governing the
administration, management, and development planning of the chartered SUC for the latter’s action as
it may deem it.
