Page 36 - Standing Alone
P. 36
Timothy chapter 1, verse 15, “This thou
knowest, that all they which are in Asia be
turned away from me…” Paul knew what it
was like to be alone. And he wasn't alone
for no reason. It was for the cause of Jesus
Christ. He would not compromise the truth.
Paul stood for the truth; he preached the
truth; he lived the truth, so he spent a lot of
time alone.
Now, I'm going to be reading in 1
Corinthians chapter 4, and then we're going
to go to 2 Corinthians and look at a couple
of verses there. You need to realize that
when you get more serious with God,
people have a tendency to take their hands
off of you — How many of you believe that?
