and then to  the  Gentiles,  that  they  should



             repent and turn to God, and do works meet



             for  repentance.” So  it's  very  clear  that



             repentance is a biblical doctrine.




                    Coming  back  to  Galatians  5,  verse  24,



             Paul  says,  “And  they  that  are  Christ's”  —



             they who are saved, belonging to the Lord



             — “have crucified” — past tense; in other


             words,  the  moment  we  were  saved,  we




             made  a  conscious  decision  that  we  will


             renounce a life of sin, we “have crucified the




             flesh  with  the  affections  and  lusts.”   Now,


             there  are  many  other  passages  we  see



             where this is true.  In Galatians chapter 6,



             verse 14,  we find the apostle  Paul writing



             again, and he said, “But God forbid that I
