glory means to be exalted above measure.



             You  see,  the  flesh,  the  old  man,  loves  to



             show off, and it doesn't matter whether it's



             in the religious arena or in the world, saved



             or lost; the flesh just loves to show off.  And



             listen  to  this  passage,  a  passage  that's



             dealing with alms-giving, prayer, and fasting.



             Now,  we  know  all  of  those  are  biblical



             doctrines.  There's  nothing  wrong  with



             praying  in  private  or  public  or  giving  in



             private or public, but listen to this.  Matthew



             chapter  6,  verse  2,  says,  “Therefore  when



             thou  doest thine alms,  do  not  sound  a



             trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in



             the synagogues and in the streets, that they



             may  have  glory  of  men.  Verily  I  say  unto



             you,  They  have  their  reward.”   Now  we
