into the fire. In Luke chapter 13, verses 11
through 16, there's a woman who was
bowed over and couldn't raise herself up for
18 years. The Bible says in that passage that
Satan had bound her, and Christ released
her and healed her. She couldn't raise
herself up for 18 years. All through the New
Testament we find that Satan inflicted
people. In dealing with church discipline for
a man committing fornication, the apostle
Paul told the church at Corinth in 1 Corinthians
5, verse 5, to “deliver such an one unto
Satan for the destruction of the flesh…”
In 2 Corinthians chapter 12 and verse 7
the apostle Paul says, “there was given to
me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of
