Yes, Job learned a lot through this process,
but Job was not living in sin. God Himself
says he's a perfect and upright man, he
feareth God, he hateth evil, and he holdeth
fast his integrity. God said that, so we can
repeat it. But do you know what happened
when Job got sick? His friends came to visit
him, and in chapter 16, verses 1 through 5,
they're called “miserable comforters.” When
they came the first five or six days, they did
a great job. They sat down and mourned
with Job. Do you know when they got in
trouble? When they opened their mouth —
"Job, you must be living in some kind of
sin." And we find that toward the end of the
book in chapter 42, verses 7 and 8, God
condemns Job's friends and instructs them
