Baptism & Salvation
Now, let me give you a quote from what
Seventh-Day Adventists believe on baptism:
“Christ made it clear that he required baptism of
those who wished to become part of his church’s
spiritual kingdom, and baptized believers entered
into the passion experience of the Lord. Baptism
also marks a person’s entrance into Christ’s
spiritual kingdom. It unites the new believers to
Christ. Through baptism, the Lord adds the new
disciple to the body of believers, His body, the
church. Then they are members of God’s
family.” Seventh-Day Adventists have a total
works-based salvation. Now, you know in this
church here we preach that salvation is a free
gift through the blood of Jesus Christ, and at the
same time, we preach on holiness for those who
are saved by the grace of God to walk with
God. We don’t mingle those together. Salvation
