that old Jerusalem would not be built. This is in
1800. She also said that she would be alive at
Christ’s coming. She died in July of 1915. In
1862 she predicted the downfall of America. She
said the United States would be humbled into
dust by England during the Civil War. This is
from Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 1, page
259. She claimed to have traveled to various
planets that had inhabitants, met Enoch, and saw
angels using golden gate passes to go in and out
of Heaven. She believes certain races of people
were a result of sexual relations between man
and animal. She called it amalgamation. She
believed that Christ would return before slavery
was abolished (Early Writings, pages 35 and
276). She believed that Adventists living in
1856 would be alive at the Rapture (Testimonies
for the Church, Vol. 3, pp. 131 & 132). And
there are many more false prophecies. She
