writings are termed as the “spirit of prophecy,”
an expression, as I’ve already said, taken from
Revelation 19, verse 10. She never held an
official title as the head of the SDA church but
was one of its founders and acknowledged
spiritual leaders. Her writings are equivalent to
17 times the size of the Bible that you hold in
your hand. She had claimed to have received
more than 3,000 inspired counsels, visions from
the Lord between 1844 and 1868. From these
visions, she produced over 100,000 handwritten
manuscript pages from which were published 54
books. She’s accepted as a prophet. She’s held
in high esteem among the SDA. Let me give you
a quote or two here. She claimed her messages
“were direct from God for guidance and
instruction of the church. To reject her writings
is to bring judgment.” Try to join their church
and say you reject her writings and see if you
