churches. This is a spiritual gift.” They also

believe even our prayers are an abomination to

God. So first of all, they’re date-setters;

secondly, they believe they are the true church

and, number 3, even though in some areas

they’ll try to downplay this a little bit until you

get sucked into it, they believe that Ellen White

was a prophet, and they consider her writings as

inspired. We know that only Scripture is

inspired. But they consider her writings as

inspired and claim that she had the spirit of

prophecy, and they base that on Revelation

chapter 19, verse 10. That passage speaks of the

spirit of prophecy. So they accept Ellen White’s

writings as inspired counsel from the Lord. They

would quote her as you and I would quote the
