Word of God, and verse 19 goes on to say, “And

if any man shall take away from the words of the

book of this prophecy, God shall take away his

part out of the book of life, and out of the holy

city, and from the things which are written in

this book,” a warning given to anyone who

would add to God’s Word or who would take

away from God’s Word.

The Marks of a Cult

We have a little article in the library. I didn’t

write it. It’s been around here for probably 15

years or maybe longer, and it has to do with the

marks of a cult. I hope most of you have seen

it. It has to do with addition, subtraction,

multiplication, and division; in other words, the

marks of a cult is adding to God’s Word,

subtracting from the Person of Christ, multiplying

the requirements of salvation and, number 4,

dividing the followers’ loyalty. You ask, “What
