You’ll notice that you keep hearing that name
over and over – the remnant church. There are
certain expressions you’ll hear over and over in
their writings. Now, it goes on to say, “If the
candidate says yes and is baptized, they soon
learn that the gift of prophecy is Ellen G.
White’s writings.” Point number 13 has them
accepting that the SDA church is the remnant
church of Bible prophecy. Again, Ellen G.
White is esteemed very highly among them.
In 1 Corinthians chapter 14 beginning in
verse 34, we have these words: “Let your
women keep silence in the churches: for it is not
permitted unto them to speak; but they are
commanded to be under obedience, as also saith

the law. And if they will learn any thing, let
them ask their husbands at home: for it is a
shame for women to speak” – that is, speak with
