is a gift, and it’s in Christ, as I preached to you



             my first point in my sermon this morning.  It’s


             in  Christ.   It’s  nowhere  else.   It’s  through  his


             blood.  It’s by grace through faith.  It’s through


             Jesus Christ.  Salvation is a gift, and it must be



             received as a gift.  Now, we preach to those who


             have received that gift, “Hey, now that we have


             this gift, let’s live for the Lord, and let me show



             you how to do that from Scripture.” Adventists


             don’t believe that.  They believe that salvation is


             earned through their deeds and their works.  They



             have no real assurance of salvation.  According


             to 1 John chapter 5, verse 13, we can know that


             we are saved.  I can put my head on the pillow



             tonight and know I’m saved.  They cannot do


             that.
