of the wicked, and soul sleep of the saints. Now,

that’s pretty much how we could sum up their

teachings. I’ve been asked by many people,

“Do you consider them as being a cult?” and my

answer is yes. They’re called Seventh-Day

Adventists because of their emphasis on

observing the Sabbath, and advent has to do

with the coming of Jesus Christ. So they place

great emphasis upon the Sabbath and the Second

Advent, believing that they are fulfilling the

prophecy as the remnant church.

Now, I’m going to read one verse from this

particular chapter in the book of Isaiah, and then

I’m going to give you an overview. We could

spend literally weeks on each one of the

distinctive doctrines, but we’re going to give an

overview this evening. This will be the third

message that I’ve preached on this subject in 20

2
