years here in this church. Now, reading one

verse to get started this evening in Isaiah chapter

8, we’ll read verse 20: “To the law and to the

testimony: if they speak not according to this

word, it is because there is no light in them.” I

want to emphasize the part of the verse that says

that “if they speak not according to this word, it

is because there is no light in them.”

Father, we thank You tonight for the privilege

and the opportunity and the blessing to come

together again this evening, and we just ask,

Lord, that You would lead and guide us. And,

Lord, we pray for truth, we pray for righteousness,

and we pray, Lord, that You would just be with

us tonight and meet with us, for it’s in Christ

Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

If the only peculiar thing about the Seventh-

Day Adventists was the keeping of the Sabbath,

I personally would have no real problem with
