Although God no longer gives visions as He

did in Bible times, He still orchestrates all

the necessary circumstances in order to

unite the messenger of the Gospel with

those whose hearts will receive the

message and be regenerated by God’s

Holy Spirit. Jesus said in John 6:65, “[N]o

man can come unto me, except it were

given unto him of my Father,” and in that

sense, God the Father directs a potential

believer to hear the message of forgiveness

of sins through His Son’s atoning sacrifice.

Our responsibility as individual believers is

to be equipped with the Word of God and

to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy

Spirit as God gives us direction and
