Notice with me, please, now, as we come

to Deuteronomy chapter 7. For time's sake,

let me take one verse out of this chapter.

And, by the way, by the time I get through

with this message, I'm going to know where

your heart is by looking into your face, and

I'm going to know whether you're in front

of the television very much, and I'm going

to know what you’re watching — Amen? —

or whether you're going to be happy and

joyous and excited about the truth or

whether you're going to be vexed in your

spirit, Amen?

Now, notice that he's talking about

idolatry in this passage in Deuteronomy

chapter 7. In verse 26 he said, “Neither shalt
