When we talk about the subject of
“Lordship salvation,” there are two views on
this subject, and I'll give you the different
views in just a moment. But before we get
into that, there's a multitude of unconverted
people in churches today who have a
profession of faith but they do not have
genuine salvation, and this would be my
concern when we come to this subject of
Lordship salvation. In reference to Lordship,
one writer said, “To urge men and women to
believe in a divided Christ is bad teaching, for
no one can receive half of Christ or one-third of
Christ or one-fourth of the person of Christ. We
are not saved by believing in an office nor a
work.”
