Six weeks ago when I preached a
message titled “Repentance and Faith,” I
mentioned to you a Billy Graham crusade in
1954 called “The Greater London Crusade.”
At least three thousand made professions of
faith. They had kept very good records, and
at the end of ten years, they went by to
follow up on these professions of faith, and
they found only 17 out of those 3,000 who
were walking with the Lord — and, again,
they kept very good records. One time I
mentioned to you that a pastor over in
Mississippi told me that he had had 700
professions of faith through door knocking
in one year, and at the end of that year, only
one family was in the church.
