 A person can serve Christ as an apostle

and not be saved (John 6, verse 70).

That's Judas Iscariot;

 A person can even believe on Jesus’

name and not be saved (John 2:23 and

24).

In other words, we're talking about a

very serious matter this morning that's

debated back and forth among Christian

people. John 2:23 and 24 says, “Now when

he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the

feast day, many believed in his name, when

they saw the miracles which he did. But

Jesus did not commit himself unto them,

because he knew all men.” And, again, in

John 6 we find that there were disciples who
