then establishing the Lordship of Christ and

then accepting that Lordship.

I'm going to read one verse in John

chapter 19, and this is at the crucifixion.

Now, let me say this. The lost do not submit

to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. This was the

major objection with the doctrine of Lordship.

This is the problem that most had with Jesus

Christ in the first century, and they still have

that problem today. The signature of saving

faith is surrender — again, waving the white

flag. Christ is not just a fire escape out of

Hell. There's much more to this.

Now, John chapter 19 and verse 15 says,
