Hebrews 3:15 says, “Today if ye will hear his

voice, harden not your hearts.”

There will also be an end to God’s

forebearance with the enemies of God’s

children. Luke 18:7 says, “And shall not God

avenge his own elect, which cry day and

night unto him, though he bear long with

them?” Although God does not allow

believers to avenge ourselves of our

enemies, we can pray that God will avenge

us. Revelation 6:10 says that the saints in

Heaven were pleading that God would take

vengeance on their enemies, and these

saints were already in their glorified state

absent of their sinful nature: “And they cried

with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord,

holy and true, dost thou not judge and

avenge our blood on them that dwell on the

earth?” So it’s not a sin to pray for God to
