around us, and God can use our joyful and
thankful heart to draw others to Himself.
It’s reassuring to know that God will not
forsake those who seek Him. Jeremiah 29:13
says, “And ye shall seek me, and find me,
when ye shall search for me with all your
heart,” and Isaiah 55:6 says, “Seek ye the
LORD while he may be found, call ye upon
him while he is near.” If a person is honestly
seeking a right relationship with the God of
creation, we can be confident that God will
send someone into that person’s life with
the message of salvation and forgiveness of
sins.
Proverbs 9:10 says that “The fear of the
LORD is the beginning of wisdom.” We
should fear the consequences for our sins in
the light of God’s holiness, and the fear of
God’s judgment upon sin and wickedness
