according to the book of Hebrews. We're not


             talking now about somebody who’s backslidden.



             We're not talking about somebody who’s made



             a mistake or that has fallen and needs to be


             lifted back up, but we're talking about someone



             who  has  supposedly  believed  the  truth  and


             then turned their back on God and His Word.



             And this is not even dealing with ignorance or a


             lack  of  knowledge.  It's  not  dealing  with  a



             backslider.  It's not even dealing with heresy,



             but it's dealing with apostasy, those who have


             professed to believe the truth and then turned



             their back upon it.



                    I  want  you  to  turn  with  me,  please,  to


             Romans, chapter 1, and let's begin reading from



             about  verse  18.  Now,  obviously,  there  are


             steps, I'm sure, to apostasy, and there are many



             verses throughout the entire Bible that would
