GOD’S KIND OF LOVE

             “Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity

               vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,  Doth not behave itself
                                                                         5

                   unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked,

              thinketh no evil;  Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the
                                        6

             truth;  Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things,

                   endureth all things.  Charity never faileth”  ~1 Cor. 13:4-8a








                    Many Christians mistakenly believe that



             to love as God loves is to passively tolerate,



             ignore,  and  often  excuse  sin  rather  than



             address  sin  and  warn  of  sin’s  devastating



             consequences.  In fact, silent acquiescence



             to  sin  and  ungodliness  is  considered  by



             many to be a Christian virtue.  But silence



             gives consent, and it’s not loving, either by
