Jeremiah 17:9 says, “The heart is deceitful
,
above all things and desperately wicked:
who can know it?” So to believe all things
would not suggest that we blindly or
carelessly believe everything we hear or
read or even believe every preacher or Bible
teacher who professes to accurately
communicate and interpret God’s Word.
Matthew 7:15 says, “Beware of false
prophets, which come to you in sheep's
clothing, but inwardly they are ravening
wolves,” and 1 John 4:1 cautions Christians,
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try
the spirits whether they are of God:
because many false prophets are gone out
