into the world.” In Acts 17:11 the Berean

believers “received the word with all readiness

of mind, and searched the scriptures

daily, whether those things were so,” and

all Christians — especially in these days of

apostasy — should do the same.

So to believe all things would mean to

believe all truth, and we can trust that

we’re reading absolute truth when we read

the Word of God. It is my conviction and

belief, however (and even common sense

would confirm), that there is only one

God-approved and infallible translation

of the copies of the manuscripts that were

used by the early church into the different

languages of the world. God would surely
