SIX-STRAND
       SINNET

      The number of variations
      possible with six strands is
      practically limitless and
      should satisfy the most
      imaginative requirements. The
braid illustrated here is one of
      the simplest and only a
sample of what can be done.
      The basic principle of the
braid is to bring the right
strand over to the leh with an
      over-two -under-one- over·
      two weave. The maneuvers
illustrated in figures 1 and 2
      merely provide an attractive
      beginning for the sinnet and
      are not repeated.
