applied knots
Knots can be used together in an infinite number of
combinations, each time with different and often surprising
results, and we thought it would be useful to group in this
chapter some of those combinations which are worthy of
mention because of their panicular usefulness or originality.
They include simple applications like the net and more
complicated ones such as the ladder: just a few examples of
what can be done with a simple piece of rope.
With a little patience and imagination, you can create truly
ingenious results, possibly with a spark of genius.
