Purpose
Attach any lanyard or neck cord to whatever it suspends, from a jack-knife to a
sports coach’s stopwatch, by means of this simplest of hitches.
Tying
Either the loop or bight must be long enough to pass right over the object to be
attached (as illustrated) or it must be possible to thread the other end of the
lanyard through itself. In this instance lift the object through as shown (figure 1).
Pull tight (figure 2).
