The reason we need multiple signatories is to cover absences of Committee members. In the normal
course of events the Treasurer will write a cheque and have the President
countersign it or he will generate a payment and have the President authorise the payment. If the Presi-
dent is not available then the authority devolves to the Vice President

and then to the Social Director. In all situations two signatories are required.

The recipient of this award, nominated by Branch members, was outgoing Secretary Don Wilkinson.

General Business.

A motion was moved by Ron Howell and seconded by Mac MacBride that the Geelong Branch purchase
$200 of 2023 UCARF RaffleTickets and if we win then the prizes
come to the branch for distribution as prizes etc as decided by the committee. Motion was passed on a
show of hands.
