Mike ‘Richo’ Richardson #342.

        35 years of Membership.

        Now aged a spritely 82, Mike has clocked up his 35 Year
        Membership as of January 2021. He joined in 1986 with the
        Wollongong Branch where he was on the Committee in various
        capacities. He moved to Port Macquarie on the NSW Mid North
        Coast in 2000 after retiring. His hobbies included riding with the
        local U3A cycle group and playing his trumpet regularly with local
        bands. His favorite music includes Jazz, Big Band Swing and Dixie.
        He is a keen follower of the MotoGP, travelling at times over the
        years to witness events like Wayne Gardener’s rides with Moriwaki
        .DZDVDNL LQ WKH 6ZDQ ,QVXUDQFH 5DFHV RI WKH   V  µ5LFKR¶ VWDUWHG
        his love of motorcycles at the age of 16 with an Arial 350 Red Hunter, back
        in the ‘Mother Country’. He has had numerous makes and models over the
        years with his passion for Motorcycles. His current stable includes a meek
        +RQGD 'LR  IRU VFRRWLQJ DURXQG 3RUW 0DFTXDULH  DQG D      .DZDVDNL :
        Cafe Racer, which was his present to himself for his 80th Birthday. More
        recently, he has added a 2021 Honda CMX1100 Cruiser to his stable. ‘Richo’
        is often seen up with the front runners on the Wednesday Rides decked out
        in his full leathers. A good candidate as a Distinguished Gentleman Rider.

                                                                            Wanderers Donation

                                                                            The Warnbro Sound Wanderers made
                                                                            a donation to the local Salvos branch
                                                                            Christmas appeal recently, to help make
                                                                            Christmas a little brighter for local people
                                                                            who were down on their luck.
                                                                            We have supported the appeal for several
                                                                            years, with the Salvos letting us know
                                                                            ZKDW WKH\ QHHG KHOS WR ¿OO WKHLU KDPSHUV
                                                                            This year the request was for cake and
                                                                            pudding mixes, so Branch President, Julie

                                                                            The handover was at Pengo’s café with
                                                                            around 40 Branch members watching on.
                                                                            We hope this small gesture can brighten
                                                                            Christmas for some local families.
