Wednesday Ride - 8 June

What a hardy band of enthusiastic riders turned out today on such a cold and blustery morning!! Ten riders
had no plans of where to go so we decided it was Chris's turn to lead us, and off we went to the Gooseberry
Hill French cafe. In view of impending rain we only wanted a short ride , so not having been to this venue for
a while we headed off for a gourmet style morning tea. We did a quick run through the Swan Valley, Midvale,
Jane Brook and Darlington, finally reaching Gooseberry Hill and ... getting to the important bit ... delicious
cakes and treats with our coffee ... being a French patisserie it never disappoints and a comment was heard
that we need to frequent this establishment more often. We enjoyed a lot of friendly banter and chit chat
before a quick ride back down the hill. Hopefully we all got home without getting wet. Many thanks to Norm
for TEC duties. See you all next time.
