On Sunday, things shift up a gear when the Joondalup streets are transformed into a 2.5km sprint-style track,
while the surrounding area will become five regional themed automotive precincts – Route 66 (USA), Old
Blighty (UK), The Continent (EU), The Orient (Asia) and Land Down Under (Aus).
Event Director Justin Hunt said there is an influx of interest from the car community on how they can be a
part of the event.
“Everyone wants to know how and when they can register,” Justin said. “We love the enthusiasm out there
for this event!
“We can let everyone know that we’re aiming for registrations to open on our website for display vehicles in
mid-June, while Sprint entries will open in July.
“Our vision is for this event to be Perth’s biggest celebration of car culture and a major drawcard for the
Joondalup area.”
The Joondalup Festival of Motoring is a partnership between the City of Joondalup and Justin Hunt Manage-
ment.
