Ridden On This is one of the saddest sections in the Riding On and if we can be fair to

family. There was a short relocation to

President he completed his education. After schooling Secretary - Alan Jones
he became a welder. During his early
Moree years, he met his life love, Mary, a
newly qualified teacher. They married in
Cronulla (Mary’s home town). 2 daughters
arrived on the scene and Les joined the
ranks of GrainCorp as chief grain counter.
In 1983 they all moved to Temora until
1987 when Les was transferred to Wagga
Wagga. Later, GrainCorp had a massive
restructuring and requested Les move to
another location. He said politely “#@^*@
no!”. So his career went against the grain…
From there he worked at Kurrajong, then
had a daily mail and parcel delivery service
                                            between Wagga and Holbrook, finally
ending up as a Taxi driver. In 2010 Les
