A pleasant ride to Reagan’s Ford, beautiful clear spring day not much traffic at all. Pulling into
Reagan’s Ford, which looked more like a flood plain, for a comfort stop, I noticed Chris on his ST.
Hm did not start with us. Turns out as we departed he arrived and tagged on.
On departing from Reagan’s Ford there was a swapping of keys . What’s this? Should this occur
so brazenly? What would others think? Indeed there was swapping, Dave and Chris decided to test
out each other’s steeds.
Arrived in Bindoon and the usual pies and coffee were consumed along with the usual chin wags.
Coming close to departure time yet another key swap in the centre of the table . Chris returned
the keys to Dave’s bike, ah now where Chris’s keys are. Dave searched in the usual spots but to no
avail. Alas Dave had to admit “mea culpa”, left them in the bike . Dave correctly pointed out that
he did say he would look after Chris’s bike but he did not say how well!! Alls well that ends well.
It was great to be back on the bike again enjoying good company and talking the usual high level
