Ken’s Back Again Ride 28th August

After spending the month of August on a great 8000km Black Dog Ride to the Red Centre and back with
Dave Senior it was time to get local again with a Sunday Ride.
On a chilly morning it was a simple ride for six of us through the Swan Valley, Guilford and Kalamunda and
on to the Brook 508 Café on Brookton Highway. A bit of fun with the lovely young new staff sorting out
orders but they will learn, everyone has to start somewhere.
After morning tea it was onto Dwelling via the normal ride up Albany Highway as the day slowly warmed
up, through Jarrahdale and Kingsbury Drive and Del Park Road. Bruce had left us a Jarrahdale leaving the 5
of us remaining to enjoy a lunch at the Dwelling up Pub. Nigel left us for a North Spur Road ride while us
others took a more sedate ride home. An enjoyable ride with thanks to Bruce and Nigel doing TEC duties.
