McPherson or "Lady Bird" who wants to
leave Sacramento but her pushy, obsessive
mother is determined to keep her in
California. This film resonated with me
because it emphasizes on the toxic
mother-daughter relationships and urges
the audience to learn from such
connections in order to stay connected
with our beloved. I believe this is one of
the finest coming-of-age films with
emotional themes such as grief and regret,
and I strongly recommend everyone above
the age of sixteen to watch it.
