LETTER A LETTER TO MR. JOHN GREEN, AUTHOR
OF “THE FAULT IN OUR STARS”
Dear Mr Green,
I’m a fourteen-year-old student from Nepal. I have read many
of your books and I’m a huge fan. I love all of your books but
some of your books which I’m very fond of are “The Fault in
Our Stars”, “Looking for Alaska” and “Paper Towns”. Since I
1st Aug 2021 can’t cover all these books, I have decided to write about
“The Fault in Our Stars” in this letter.
John Green
When I first read the book I was left turning pages and

finished reading the whole book in one go. I found the book
Willifred Industries really heartwarming. The message was really touching and I

Any City, ST 12345 cried reading it. You have developed the characters so well
that it makes the readers really connect with them. What I
most appreciate about the novel is that you don’t sugar coat
the grim reality of death.
I would like to ask you where you get ideas to develop such
fascinating books with interesting characters? What do you
do when you run out of any ideas? And lastly, are the
characters in “The Fault in Our Stars” related to any real
person?
I know your letter box is probably full of fan mails but I really
hope you would be able to write back to me as being a great
admirer of your work, I have read all of your books.
Sincerely,
Kritagya Paudel
