Hilchot Esurei Lashon Hara ערה ןושל ירוסיא תוכלה
Kelal Tet - Halachah 6 א הכלה - י ללכ
And so even if they were to realize that their language is forbidden, it is ירבדלד ומכ ,רתומ וריבחל םדא ןיבש םירבדב
nearly impossible for them (to even understand or accept that what they
are saying is a sin and) to change their ingrained behavior. But this would ם"במרה בתכש המד רמול חרכומ התא הנשמ םחלה
not be so if their father had constantly been encouraging \ teaching them וריבחל םדא ןיבש םירבדא וינפב ותוא ןיפרחמו
from the time they were young children not to speak Lashon Hara (and
similarly not to curse and not to lie) about any Jew. Then inevitably this .הנוי 'רכ רבוסד רשפא כ"או ,הז םג ןכ ,יאק כ"ג
constant teaching will become implanted in the children’s personalities and
as the children grow older it will be easy for them to set real limits to their הכלה ז"פב ןמקל בתכדמ הזל היאר איבהל ןיא לבא
speech and cultivate this holy personality trait (of guarding their speech).
In this merit they will realize an eternal life in Olam Haba and their lives in ופוגב וריבח קיזהל 'וכו םימרוגש םירבד רפסמהו 'ה
this world will be filled with good, as David HaMelech teaches in Tehilim ,ר"השל וז ירה ודיחפהל וא ול רצהל וא ונוממב וא
(34:13) “Who is the person who wants life.” 42

K9/ . It is forbidden for anyone to repeat anything that was ם"במרה ירבדד םש הנשמ ףסכה בתכש ומכ ,תמא
told to him (15) by a fellow Jew unless specific permission was
given to repeat that confidence. And repeating the confidence הזב בשח אלש םירג ןב הדוהיד השעממ םיעבונ
with permission is permitted only (specifically) when the remarks ה"פא ,רחא םוקמב ונבתכש ומכו ,י"בשרל תונגל
contain no Lashon Hara.
