        You don’t need to undertake extensive remodeling projects
        to sell your home or increase the value of your property.
        You do need to be sure your property is up to the standards
        of the neighboring homes.

        MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE IS A MUST

        It’s  easy  to get wrapped  up in  the  aesthetic  aspects  of
        preparing  a  home for  sale.  However, don’t  overlook  the
        upkeep of the unseen aspects of your home that keep it
        warm or cool, dry, and safe from fire.

        Take a close look at:

        « electrical boxes and wiring

        « natural gas lines

        « plumbing

        « central heating and air-conditioning

        If these systems are old, outdated, or not functioning
        correctly, then you’re lowering your home’s value.
        According to the National Association of REALTORS?
        (NAR), 65% of home buyers surveyed wanted assurance
        that their new home had a working central air
        system. Of the 31 mechanical features mentioned in the
        survey, this one was viewed across the board as the most
        important.

        People want to purchase a home that’s safe. Faulty electrical
        systems can immediately sour a real estate transaction.
