STEP 6: Take a close look to see the grainy textural effect of the spattering.
STEP 8: Do the same technique in this area using the same brushes and Sweet Mint. Add some extra accents in the distant trees and bushes in front of the cabin.
STEP 5: Put Chrome Green Hue, Dioxazine Purple, and Sweet Mint on your palette. You will be working each of these colors into each other. Using the no. 12 Special Ef- fects Brush (or a beat-up no. 8 round), apply some Chrome Green Hue in the tree area. While the paint is wet, work some Dioxazine Purple into the shadow areas (the darker spots within the trees). While both paints are wet, take the no. 4 Special Effects Brush (or a beat-up no. 4 round) and gently add highlights with Sweet Mint.
Repeat for the bushes around the cabin.
Repeat to paint the trees over the rooftop. Add some white lines to the rooftops
STEP 7: Put some Sweet Mint on your palette. Using the no. 4 Special Effects Brush (or a beat-up no. 4 round), ap- ply a heavy coat of paint to the light green areas. With the no. 4 round, accent some areas with Dioxazine Purple, es- pecially at the edge of the path. With the no. 6 Special Ef- fects Brush (or the sharpest point you have), paint in some trees and leaves.
STEP 9: Using the no. 6 round, paint some dabs of Blue Haven on top of the Sweet Mint. Add fence posts with Raw Umber.
