Value 6: Titanium White + Ivory Black + Raw Umber + touch Yellow Ochre
Value 8: Titanium White + Value 6 Foreground Mix
Clean the No. 4 filbert and pinch out the excess cleaner. Load the brush with Value 6 Foreground Mix and place it in the Value 6 foreground areas indicated on the map. Pinch the brush; load it with Value 8 Foreground Mix, and place it in the Value 8 foreground areas. Blend between the two areas.
Next, use the tip of the filbert to make hash marks between the foreground and background on the right side to blend them. Using the 13mm Sceptre Gold flat brush softly sweep over the blended area. Repeat this process on the left side. If needed, add more paint to get a soft transition between the foreground and background areas.
Wipe the flat brush on a paper towel to remove the paint before using it again.
Using the No. 2 filbert loaded with Value 4 Background Mix, place a shadow under the glass bottle and work it outward, toward the right side. Pinch the brush and deepen the shadow under the bottle and to the immediate right with the Value 3 Background Mix and then with the Value 2 Background Mix. Blend slightly between the values and then use the Sceptre Gold flat brush to soften.
