ANDHRA PRADESH STATE FORMATION DAY
Andhra Pradesh State Formation Day is celebrated annually on November 1st to commemorate the
establishment of the state. This day holds historical significance as it marks the bifurcation of the combined
state of Andhra Pradesh into two separate entities: Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The Political Science Department at VSR GDC Movva, celebrated Andhra Pradesh State Formation
Day on November 1, 2023. The celebration aimed to foster a sense of unity, pride, and awareness among the
students and faculty regarding the state's history and cultural heritage.
