INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING DAY

International Accounting Day is observed globally on November 10th each year, recognizing the

importance of the accounting profession in financial management and decision-making. The day is an
opportunity to appreciate the contributions of accountants and celebrate the field of accounting.

In this view, the Commerce Department, at VSR GDC Movva, this day celebrated to mark
International Accounting Day on 10 November 2023. The celebration focused on creating awareness about

the significance of accounting in business and finance.

The celebration aims to highlight the critical role accountants play in maintaining financial integrity,
transparency, and compliance in various organizations. It is a day to acknowledge the efforts of accounting
