On the same day, the Department of Political Science organized a
Guest Lecture on Importance of Political Science. Dr. S. Jagan Mohan
Rao, Resource person addressing the students said that Studying
political science grounds students in the importance of political
participation and prepares them to take part in the political life of
their communities and the nation. The study of political science
prepares students for a variety of careers including law, journalism,
international affairs, elementary and secondary education, and
positions in government agencies and political offices. Political
Science equips students with an understanding of the political
institutions and laws that govern all businesses function. It also
sharpens students' understanding of organizational dynamics and
human relations, and hones their writing, communication, and
statistical skills.
Our Principal, Dr.S.Madhavi, delivered a guest lecture on Career
Guidance at AG & SGS college Vuyyuru on 12 September 2022.
Addressing the students, She explained that career guidance is one
of the most important guidance that students need to nurture their
future. The decisions of early student life have a major impact on
their career, which is not just restricted to their academics but have
an impact on their social, financial, and personal life. Career
guidance will help the students to fulfill their aspirations by setting
up realistic goals. Career choice will determine the future of the
students not only by providing them their dream job but also by
providing them a better future with job satisfaction. Career
guidance is helpful at any stage of education. It not just helps to
understand better career options but also helps to stay motivated
throughout the journey.
The Department of Mathematics organized a Guest lecture on 27
September 2022. The Guest speaker Dr. K. Jaya Lakshmi, Professor,
Department of Mathematics, Krishna University, discussed various
aspects of Numerical Applications and its importance in real life,
and its aspects. It was a really very interactive session with students.
She encouraged everyone about maths and its useful in real big
problems. Students from III BSC and PG Mathematics attended.
AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON HUMAN VALUES
On 3 September 2022 the Department of Political Science organized
an awareness Programme on Human Values. The Resource person
Smt. Mary Krupabhai, Lecturer in Political Science, GDC Pamarru,
explained that the human values are the principles that one should
follow to live a happy and positive life. Basic human values are
loyalty, love, peace, truthfulness, honesty, etc. Human values teach
us to move in the right paths and to build our character. Human
values always help in promoting peace and harmony.

TEACHERS’ DAY

Teachers' Day is observed in India on September 5 to commemorate the
birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. To carry forward this
tradition, our college celebrated this occasion with much vigor and
enthusiasm. Dr.S.Madhavi, in her speech, said that a good teacher is a
pillar in the life of students. She emphasized on devotion, determination
and dedication of a teacher for this profession. All the lecturers, expressed
their views on role of teachers and said that a teacher has to move with
changing time and adapt changes in teaching.
