CELEBRATIONS OF SHIKSHAPARV
As a part of Shikshaparv celebrations from 5 September 2022 to 9
September 2022 a talk on “ Savitribhai Jyotirao Phule” was organized
on 6 September 2022. Smt. Mary Krupabhai, lecturer in Political
Science, GDC Pamarru, delivered a talk on “Savitribhai Jyotirao
Phule”. Addressing the students, she said that Savitribhai Jyotirao
Phule was an Indian social reformer, educationalist, and poet from
Maharashtra. Along with her husband, in Maharashtra, she played
an important and vital role in improving women's rights in India. She
is considered to be the pioneer of India's feminist movement.
Savitribai and her husband founded one of the first modern Indian girls' school in Pune,at Bhide wada in
1848. She worked to abolish the discrimination and unfair treatment of people based on caste and gender.
She is regarded as an important figure of the social reform movement in Maharashtra. Savitribai often
travelled to her school carrying an extra sari because she would be assailed by her conservative opposition
with stones, dung, and verbal abuse. She opened a total of 18 schools. The couple also opened a care centre
called Balhatya Pratibandhak Griha for pregnant rape victims and helped deliver and save their children.
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is a formal, written
agreement between two or more parties that establishes a partnership.
Our college has active MOUs with KBN college (A), Vijayawada, NTR
district, AG&SG Siddhartha Degree College, Vuyyuru, Krishna
District and PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science, Vijayawada,
NTR District.
Agreeing cooperation in all academic collaborations like faculty and
student exchange programmes, Staff Professional Development
Programmes, Collaborative Conferences, workshops and training
programmes, invited talks, online courses and visits by faculty. This
collaboration is valid for three years and can be renewed for another three
years after the expiry date with mutual consent.
RJDCE, RAJAMUNDRY REVIEW ON ACADEMIC AND NAAC
On the occasion of Dr. Ch. Krishna, RJDCE,
Rajahmundry visit to the college, on 13 September 2022
a meeting is convened by our college IQAC, under the
chairpersonship of our principal Dr.S.Madhavi. In this
meeting, Dr.Ch.Krishna, addressed the college staff on
different academic issues and particularly on NAAC
status.
He reviewed on AQARs submission status: Already 4 AQARs submitted from 2017-2018 to 2020-2021
have been submitted and AQAR 2021-2022 will be submitted by 15 September 2022.
Reviewed on NAAC status: He instructed the IQAC team to gear up the process of SSR preparation
and get ready to submit IIQA by 30 October 2022.
Interacted with Criterion In-charges and gave suggestions for achieving better grade in the upcoming
NAAC.
