                                                      The Sea Voyage

The Ferry started its Sea Journey 23 November 2020 from Vasco (Goa) to Sagar (West Bengal)
around the Indian Peninsula. In all she covered a distance of 3192 km and reached Sagar on the
               morning of 25 Dec 2020.

The Ferry had a smooth passage with fair sea and good weather conditions while passing
through the West coast of India. On 01 Dec, due to cyclone ‘Burevi’ the Ferry was diverted to
Kollam harbour for a few days to ensure safety. Once the Ferry path was clear of Cyclone, she
got underway and proceeded to Pamban via Villijim, Cape Comorin and Straits of Mannar. The
Pamban rail bridge was opened on 08 Dec for passage of the Ferry into Bay of Bengal.

The ferry encountered rough seas and turbulent weather during passage from Pamban to
Kakinada, where she arrived on the night 15 Dec 20. At Kakinada the Ferry topped up fuel,
water and essential supplies till the next planned stoppage at Sagar in West Bengal.
