Inland Waterways Journey
On 25 Dec 2020 the Ferry anchored in Sagar, marking the beginning of this unique one of its
kind passage through the inland waterways with assistance from the Inland Waterways
Authority of India (IWAI). IWAI Pilot embarked onboard as per the mandate, for safe navigation
of the Ferry through Hooghly-Bhagirathi stretch i.e. from Sagar to Farakka Barrage. The Ferry
covered over 1510 km from Sagar (Haldia) to Varanasi.
This book has stories to tell from the present life of the past history and back to present.
